Kinetico K5 Drinking Water Station
The K5 is the flagship, and it earns the title. It is tested and certified by the WQA against NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53, 58, and 372 and CSA Standard B483.1, and it removes 99% of PFAS (PFOA and PFOS), the forever chemicals showing up in water supplies across North America. QuickFlo technology delivers flow from the faucet up to two times greater than any other drinking water system, so filling a pot does not feel like a waiting game, and the system can produce more than 40 gallons of treated water per day!
What really sets the K5 apart is that it grows with your water. Eight cartridge options let us tailor the system to exactly what your water test shows, including the Purefecta Virus and Bacteria Guard for microbiologically pure water, a Chloramine cartridge suited to Municipal Water in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and Brantford, and cartridges for Arsenic, perchlorate, and VOC reduction. The Mineral Plus+ cartridge can even add Magnesium and Calcium back into your treated water for taste and health benefits.

Kinetico A200 Drinking Water System
The A200 brings Kinetico engineering to a simpler five stage system: a high capacity prefilter, Reverse Osmosis module, storage tank, carbon postfilter, and lead free faucet. Its high performance membrane produces quality water at a faster rate than typical systems, automatic shutoff conserves water once the storage tank is full, and quick disconnect cartridges make the once a year filter change easy and sanitary. The air charged storage tank and space saving design make it ideal for under the sink installation, and it can feed your fridge dispenser and ice maker too. It is backed by a 7 year parts warranty.
The honest answer is that both systems produce excellent drinking water. Choose the K5 if you are on Well Water, want certified PFAS removal, or want a system that can be reconfigured as your water changes. Choose the A200 if you want Kinetico reliability at a friendlier price for everyday Municipal Water. A free in-home water test settles the question in about 20 minutes.

Reverse Osmosis removes dissolved minerals along with contaminants, which is exactly what makes the water taste so clean. If you want minerals in your drinking water, the K5's Mineral Plus+ cartridge adds Magnesium and Calcium back into the treated water.

No. Like Kinetico Water Softeners, the K5 is Non-Electric and totally automatic. There is nothing to plug in, no electronics to fail, and the automatic shutdown conserves water instead of running it continuously to drain.
