AquaFlo Reverse Osmosis Systems: QCRO and RO 75

AquaFlo is a Canature WaterGroup brand, the same company behind the Hydrotech Water Softeners built in Cambridge, and it delivers dependable Reverse Osmosis performance without the premium price tag. We install and service two AquaFlo systems: the QCRO, with twist and lock cartridges that make filter changes genuinely painless, and the RO 75, a budget friendly four stage workhorse. Both fit under the sink and both can feed your fridge dispenser and ice maker.

AquaFlo QCRO Drinking Water System

QCRO stands for Quick Change Reverse Osmosis, and the name is the feature. Each cartridge twists off and twists on like a light bulb, with no messy sump removal and built in shutoff, so the once a year filter change takes minutes. A single manifold houses four separate filter technologies in a compact, space saving design, paired with a durable powder coated steel reservoir tank and your choice of designer faucet styles.

The QCRO is certified by IAPMO R&T to NSF/ANSI 58 and CSA B483.1 for the reduction of Lead, Fluoride, PFAS (PFOA and PFOS), Arsenic, and Total Dissolved Solids, among other potential contaminants. Because water conditions vary even within the same community, the QCRO can also be configured with interchangeable specialty cartridges, including a pH booster that remineralizes your water, so the system matches what your water test actually shows.

AquaFlo RO 75 Reverse Osmosis System

An image of an AquaFlo RO 75 Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System.

The RO 75 is our most budget conscious path to Reverse Osmosis water. It is a proven four stage design: a Sediment filter screens out dirt, sand, and rust, an activated carbon prefilter removes the Chlorine and Chloramine that would otherwise damage the membrane, a TFC membrane rated at 75 gallons per day provides up to 99% reduction of Total Dissolved Solids, and a carbon polishing filter catches any residual taste or odour just before the water reaches your faucet. Automatic shutoff conserves water once the storage tank is full. Its lower capacity filters need changing every 6 months, which we can look after for you, and the system carries a 1 year parts warranty.

Protect Your Membrane with Soft Water

AquaFlo specifies feed water hardness of no more than 7 grains per gallon for the QCRO, and untreated water in our region runs several times harder than that. Hard Water scales the membrane, cuts water production, and shortens its life, so a Water Softener ahead of your drinking water system is not an upsell, it is how you protect the investment. On Well Water, Iron, Sulfur, and Sediment need addressing first too, and our Rural Water Treatment page covers what that involves.
